English language curricular strategy in the training of professionals in early childhood

Abstract

The training of education professionals, with a high scientific-methodological preparation, today requires broad and deep theoretical and practical knowledge so that they can be actively inserted in working life in the different educational subsystems and adapt to their conditions. Such aspiration has its concretion in the curricular strategies. In the work presented, actions are required on how to work the English language curricular strategy in the discipline Theoretical and Didactic Foundations of Preschool Education, taking into consideration that it is one of the substantive changes that are introduced in the third improvement of the education of early childhood children in the sixth year of life in Cuba. Therefore, the objective is: to determine through the methodological work the general actions to guarantee the implementation of the English language strategy in the students of the Bachelor of Preschool Education career. The results obtained through its application are offered, which favored the development of professional skills and transformations in the mode of professional performance that are put into practice from the initial training of the student.
