Valoración del Turismo Alternativo en la Experiencia Turística del Sol y Playa de los Jóvenes Universitarios. Análisis Factorial de Componentes Principales de sus Preferencias y Modalidades en Relación con Playas de Comunas que Pertenecen a la Zona Rural de la Provincia de Santa Elena, 2015-2016

Resumen


El problema de investigación es el insuficiente conocimiento de los jóvenes universitarios
entre 18 y 23 años de playas que pertenecen a comunas rurales de la Provincia de Santa Elena.
El turismo necesita que su epistemología amplíe el conocimiento actual más allá del turismo
masivo, tradicional y urbano. Y lo puede hacer a partir del turismo alternativo desde las zonas
rurales con potencial turístico. Nos enfocamos en el futuro del turismo a partir de un grupo
social y generacional como son los jóvenes universitarios. Los jóvenes buscan experiencias y el
turismo puede contribuir a que ellas contribuyan a la estimulación de su mundo de vida frente
a la rutina y los momentos de vacío existencial que la sociedad postmoderna les propone. El
objetivo es determinar el valor que los jóvenes universitarios asignan a las tipologías derivadas
del turismo alternativo en base a un análisis factorial de componentes principales. Para la
investigación partimos de una población universitaria en modalidad presencial con un N=
18.053 estudiantes en el 2015 a partir de la cual se tomó una muestra no probabilística con un
n= 502 estudiantes con un nivel de confianza del 95%, se usó una escala de Likert de 0 a 11.
